Not every bride wants to choose from a collection. If you have a gown in your head that does not exist yet, the custom design service is where we begin.

The service is free to start. You describe or sketch your idea, provide any reference images you have, and we produce a design sketch and a full price quote. There is no obligation to proceed.

What the service covers

Any silhouette, neckline, fabric, or combination you can describe. We work from your references, your inspiration images, your measurements, and your wedding date, and we can produce a gown that exists nowhere else in the world.

Customisation options available on all commissions include: silhouette (A-line, ballgown, mermaid, column, fit-and-flare, or anything else), fabric (silk satin, duchess satin, silk mikado, silk cady, silk crepe, silk faille, stretch crepe, silk chiffon, or a fabric of your choosing), colour (white, ivory, champagne, blush, etc.), neckline and back construction, sleeve style and length, train length, closure type (lace-up, covered buttons, zip), in-seam pockets, and any additional details you want to specify.

How it works

Send your brief using the contact form or by emailing sylkatelier@gmail.com. Include any reference images, a description of the gown you have in mind, your approximate measurements, and your wedding date. We will respond within 48 hours with a sketch and a quote. Once approved, production takes 6 to 10 weeks. Complimentary shipping worldwide.

Price range

Custom commissions start from approximately £500 / $625, depending on fabric and construction complexity. The quote you receive will be fixed before any work begins.
